Delete your Snapiens account

This page explains how to delete your account in the Snapiens app (Google Play and App Store), published by Snapiens Inc., and what happens to your data.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open the Snapiens app and sign in.
2. Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner to open Profile.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap “Delete account”.
4. Review what will be deleted, tap “I understand, continue”, type DELETE and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately. If your brain is locked because its trial has ended, the “Delete account” link is also shown on the locked screen.

Email contact@snapiens.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm by email and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your profile: name, email address, password, and Google or Apple sign-in links. You can no longer sign in, and Sign in with Apple access is revoked.
• Your chat history with your brain and assistants.
• Your memberships, invitations, inbox assignments and schedules in other people’s brains.
• Device identifiers and push notification tokens linked to your account.
• Every brain you own, for all of its members: documents, knowledge base, agents, connectors, inbox conversations and contacts. Files and search indexes are removed within 30 days.
• Any paid plan on a brain you own is cancelled immediately, with no refund for the current billing period.

What is kept, and for how long

• Billing and payment records (invoices and transactions), for up to 7 years where tax and accounting laws require it.
• An anonymous account record with no name or email, which keeps those billing records consistent. It cannot be used to sign in.
• Messages you sent inside brains owned by someone else, such as replies to that business’s customers, stay in that brain because they belong to that business. Channel connections you set up there are transferred to the brain’s owner.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can remove specific data at any time in the app:

• Chats: open Chat History, then delete any conversation.
• Documents: open Documents, then delete any file from your brain.
• AI data sharing: Profile → AI Data Sharing → Don’t Allow stops your data being sent to AI services from now on.
• Anything else: email contact@snapiens.com and we will delete the data you specify within 30 days.
